About the R.G.O.A. and the R.G.O.A. Trust for Retired Racing Greyhounds

The Romford Greyhound Owners Association (R.G.O.A.) was formed in 1977 to assist in homing retired racing greyhounds (whilst rewarding them during their racing career) from Romford Stadium. The R.G.O.A. Trust for Retired Racing Greyhounds, Charity Number 279956R (the homing organisation, formed in 1980) is affiliated to the Retired Greyhound Trust.

The section homed greyhounds is a pictorial collage of photographs of our retired greyhounds at home.                                                                                                                                                           

During the year, the association holds special fund raising events in conjunction with Coral Romford Greyhound Stadium. (eg: Quiz Nights at the Stadium,  Greyhound Show,  Sponsored Racing on our Charity Night, Dinner Dance etc.) Click here to read about forthcoming events.

June 20th  (Sunday)   R.G.O.A Greyhound Walk The Retired Greyhound Trust have announced that Sunday June 20th is National Greyhound Walk day. The R.G.O.A. have arranged a walk from Leigh Railway station (10.00 start) along the Sea Front to Southend. We welcome all greyhounds & their owners to join us. Please contact the kennels for further details.

Kennel /Stadium greyhound mementos

Available from the R.G.O.A. shop at Coral Romford Stadium on Friday & Saturday race nights and the Kennels are various Insignia mementos, mouse mats, key rings, pens, coasters, fridge magnets, book marks, rulers and various other items.
